Ernest William Brown
Ernest William Brown (29 Kasım 1866 - 22 Temmuz 1938), İngiliz gökbilimcidir .
1891'de Haverford Koleji'nde (Pensilvanya ) tatbiki matematik profesörlüğü yaptı. 1907'de Yale Üniversitesi 'nde profesör oldu. Daha çok gök mekaniğiyle uğraşmıştır. Ay 'ın hareketi üstüne yeni bir kuram ortaya atmış, bunu ıspat ederek, 1926'da Yer 'in kendi ekseni çevresinde dönüş hareketindeki düzensizliği keşfetmiştir.
