欧几里得
欧几里得（希腊文：Ευκλειδης，前325年—前265年），有辰光謳佢亚历山大里亚的欧几里得，好区别於墨伽拉的欧几里得，古希腊数学家，畀稱為「几何學之父」。佢活躍垃托勒密一世（公元前323年－公元前283年）時期个亚历山大里亚，也是亚历山太学派个成员。佢垃著作《几何原本》裏向提出五大公理，成為欧洲数学个基础。歐幾里得也寫過歇一些關於透視、圓錐曲線、球面幾何學及數論个作品。歐幾里得幾何畀广泛认为是數學領域个經典之作。
著作
除脫《几何原本》之外，欧几里得至少還有得另外五本著作流傳至今。渠場搭《几何原本》一樣，內容儕包含定義及證明。
- 《给定量给定量》（Data）研究幾何问題裏向给定元素个性质搭意义，內容伉《几何原本》个前四卷有密切關係。
- 《图形的分割》（On divisions of figures）现存拉丁文本，论述用直线擔已知图形分成功相等个部分或成比例个部分，內容搭希羅（Heron of Alexandria）个作品相似。
- 《反射光學》（Catoptrics）論述反射光垃數學裏向个理論，尤其論述形在平面及凹鏡丄个圖像。但有排人质疑昰本書是否真正出自欧几里得之手，渠个作者作興是亚历山大里亚的忒翁亚历山大里亚的忒翁。
- 《現象》（Phenomena）是一本關於球面天文學个論文，現存希臘文本。本書搭奥托里库斯（Autolycus of Pitane）所寫的On the Moving Sphere相似。
- 《光學光學》（Optics）早期几何光学著作之一，現存希臘文本。本書主要研究视觉问题个几何方面，叙述视线个入射角等于反射角咾啥。
