蛾螺總科（学名：Buccinoidea），亦作蛾螺超科[3]，是新腹足目之下一個總科。本總科物種在尺寸方面的差異很大，但皆為捕食性海螺。
根據2005年的《布歇特和洛克羅伊的腹足類分類》[4]，峨螺總科是新腹足類分支之下的一個總科；而新腹足類分支則取代了過去旁得和林德伯格的腹足類分類 (1997年)的新腹足下目。
型態描述
本總科物種的主要特点是贝壳坚固，壳上通常具发达的螺肋[3][5]。在软体部的解剖特征上差异很小[3][6]。如同其他新腹足目物種，齒舌作梁舌型，呈銼狀[3][5][7]。齒式都很近似，[3][5]，每排只有三枚舌齒[7]。
多樣性
本總科絕大多數物種皆為海螺，但有8至10個物種已適應在淡水環境生活，成為了淡水螺。
