    Currently only interface administrators can undelete JS/CSS pages, if you have an uncontroversial undelete or deleted version retrieval request, please list it below.

    Any administrator can delete JS/CSS/JSON pages, for speedy deletions just use a CSD template on the page or its talk page.

    Individual requests for edits to interface or user JavaScript/CSS pages should continue to be made on their respective talk pages.

    Interface administrator question

    Hello, I was wondering if you are able to make changes to the sidebar in mobile view. For example, if I get consensus to make a particular change to the mobile view sidebar, are you the ones that implement it? Interstellarity (talk) 16:53, 4 February 2025 (UTC)

    Mostly, no. We can retarget something like "Community Portal" to a different page, but we can't really add/remove buttons there (well maybe with some hack client-side javascript, but that's probably a bad idea).     I was thinking about adding things like the Contents page for navigation and the Contact us page so that people don’t have to go into desktop view to view it. I also think adding a help and learn to edit button will also enhance navigation. Interstellarity (talk) 17:05, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
    This should probably start with a feature request, such as "Allow the mobile sidebar to be customized" using the desktop sidebar customizer at MediaWiki:Sidebar as an example. — xaosflux Talk 17:41, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
    Where would be the best place to post this kind of thing? My first thought was Wikipedia:VPT, but wanted to get your opinion on where I can put in feature requests. Interstellarity (talk) 18:50, 4 February 2025 (UTC)
    On phab (see here) - that would be a software change and would affect all projects, not just English Wikipedia. I'd expect the default value for it to be what is already there, so it would be seamless; but once built it could allow localization. The request could also point back alternatives, such as the devs saying we should just do client-side scripting. — xaosflux Talk 19:10, 4 February 2025 (UTC)

    (The Master of Hedgehogs/common.js) I locked myself out, can an interface admin please undo the edit?

    So, yeah. I tried to enforce a Wikibreak on myself, when I don't want one. Can one of the interface admins please undo the latest edit to my common.js? The Mastered Hedgehog (talk) 20:33, 26 February 2025 (UTC)
