Eduard Buchner
Eduard Buchner (naskiĝis en 1860 , mortis en 1917 ) estis germana kemiisto kiu ricevis la Nobel-premio de kemio en 1907 , "pro sia biokemia esplorado kaj eltrovo de eksterĉela fermentado ".
Buchner refutis la supozon de Louis Pasteur ke fermentado postulis la ekziston de viva gisto kaj anstataŭe montris ke fermentado estas aranĝita per enzimoj ankaŭ ĉeestantaj en dispremita gisto.
