Mikko Lehtonen (né le à Turku, en Finlande) est un joueur professionnel finlandais de hockey sur glace[1]. Il est le frère de Matias Lehtonen, également joueur de hockey sur glace professionnel[2].
Biographie
Carrière en club
Formé au Kiekko-67 Turku, c'est cependant avec le TPS que Lehtonen fait ses années juniors. Il reste à Turku jusqu'en 2015 où il passe au KooKoo Kouvola. Après un court passage au HV 71 en Suède, il fait un court passage au Tappara avec de revenir avec la formation basée à Jönköping pour la saison 2018-2019[1]. Le , il signe un contrat de deux ans avec le Jokerit, formation finlandaise de la KHL[3].
Carrière internationale
Lehtonen représente la Finlande au niveau international. Il participe à ses premières sélections durant la campagne 2015-2016. En 2017, il participe à son premier championnat du monde sénior. Il participe à ses premiers Jeux olympiques en 2018[1]. Lors des championnat du monde de 2019, il est nommé sur l'équipe d'étoile du tournoi[4].
