Camellia japonica, Camellia sasanqua, et earum hybridae , plantae ornamentales, sunt origo permultarum cultivarietatum hortorum. Camellia oleifera oleum seminum theae efficit, quod in arte coquinaria et medicaminibus faciei adhibetur.
