सामाजिक कार्य
सामाजिक कार्य किंवा समाज सेवा ही एक शैक्षणिक शाखा आणि सराव-आधारित व्यवसाय आहे ज्याचा संबंध व्यक्ती, कुटुंब, गट, समुदाय आणि संपूर्ण समाजाच्या मूलभूत गरजा पूर्ण करण्यासाठी त्यांच्या वैयक्तिक आणि सामूहिक कल्याणासाठी आहे. [१] सामाजिक कार्य हे मानसशास्त्र, समाजशास्त्र, आरोग्य, राज्यशास्त्र, समुदाय विकास, कायदा, आणि अर्थशास्त्र यांसारख्या क्षेत्रांमधून प्रणाली आणि धोरणांमध्ये गुंतण्यासाठी, मूल्यमापन आयोजित करणे, हस्तक्षेप विकसित करणे आणि जबाबदारी वाढवण्याशी संबंधीत आहे. सामाजिक कार्याच्या अंतिम उद्दिष्टांमध्ये लोकांचे जीवन सुधारणे, चिंता दूर करणे, व्यक्ती आणि समुदायांचे सक्षमीकरण आणि सामाजिक न्याय साध्य करणे हे समाविष्ट आहे.
