Templat bahasa {lang-haw} mengesan teks Bahasa Hawaii. Parameter yang diperlukan ialah hanya parameter istilah atau frasa. Teks tersebut diformat mengikut cadangan dalam Wikipedia:Manual gaya penulisan/Pemformatan teks#istilah asing; italik untuk bahasa Latinate, biasa untuk selainnya.
Templat ini seharusnya diletakkan selepas terjemahan bahasa Melayu bagi istilah atau frasa asing.
Parameter |pautan=no mengelakkan nama bahasa daripada diberi pautan.
Parameter |translit= membolehkan untuk perumian untuk diberikan.
Parameter |lit= membolehkan terjemahan harfiah (dalam bahasa Melayu) untuk diberikan. It is being rolled out to these templates and so may be available for {lang-haw}.
