The Ringer sh. Slika i prilika ) je britanski crno-bijeli kriminalistički film snimljen u režiji Waltera Fordea. Predstavlja drugu po redu adaptaciju romana The Gaunt Stranger Edgara Wallacea , odnosno remake istoimenog nijemog filma snimljenog tri godine ranije. Radnja prikazuje kako detektivi Scotland Yarda pokušavaju uhvatiti opasnog kriminalca koji se nakon dužeg odsutstva vratio u Englesku.
Godine 1952. je snimljena još jedna verzija.[ 1]
