Mary Soames

Mary Soames, Baroness Soames LG DBE FRSL (born Mary Spencer-Churchill ; 15 September 1922 – 31 May 2014) was the youngest of the five children of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Winston Churchill and his wife Clementine. Until her death, she was their only surviving child.[ 1]
Soames was born in Chartwell, Westerham , Kent . She was married to Christopher Soames, Baron Soames or The Lord Soames from 1947 until his death in 1987. The two had five children, Nicholas, Emma, Jeremy, Charlotte and Rupert.
Soames died after a short illness on 31 May 2014 in London , aged 91.[ 2]
