ചെറുമരങ്ങളും കുറ്റിച്ചെടികളും ബഹുവർഷി സസ്യങ്ങളും പരാദവള്ളികളും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു സസ്യകുടുംബമാണ് സന്റാലേസീ (Santalaceae).[1] ചന്ദനം ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ കുടുംബത്തിലെ മിക്ക അംഗങ്ങളും മറ്റു സസ്യങ്ങളിലെ പരാദങ്ങളായിട്ടാണു വളരുന്നത്. [2] മുൻപ് വിസ്കേസീ (Viscaceae) കുടുംബത്തിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന അംഗങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ സന്റാലേസിയിൽ ആണ് ഉള്ളത്.
2003 -ലെ ആഞ്ചിയോസ്പേം ഫൈലോളജി ഗ്രൂപ് സിസ്റ്റം II പ്രകാരം സന്റാലേസ് നിരയിൽ ആണ് ഈ കുടുംബം സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്നത്.[3]
