History

Historically, Akita haes seen chynges throughoot at least fower historical Japanese periods; Edo, Meiji, Showa an Heisei. The beginnins o Akita wur in the Edo period. A dounset, kent as Kubota Castle Toun, wis fairmed that wad later become the centre o Akita. Construction is datit tae 1604.

Meiji
