The Turtle-doo or Turtour (Streptopelia turtur), kent forbye as the European Turtle Doo, is a memmer o the bird faimily Columbidae.
This doo is kent tae cleck in maist o the South-wastern Palearctic. It bides athort Europe, exceptin Scotland, Ireland an Scandinavie, as weel as Central Asie an North Africa. The turtle-doo flits tae ablow the Sahara ootthrou the winter.
